Jobim Sinfonico is the orchestral tribute to Brazil's Antonio Carlos Jobim, one of the worlds most influential composers. His Girl From Ipanema, remains the most-often played song on earth. This is the North American premiere of his works, adapted for orchestra by his son Paulo and arranger Mario Adnet. Symphony of the Americas will perform under the direction of maestro Claudio Cruz of the Sao Paulo State Symphony Orchestra. Jobim Sinfonico won the 2004 Latin Grammy, classical category. The concert is the climax to the Broward Center's State to State business and cultural forum with the State of Sao Paulo and the State of Florida. Jobim Sinfonico is the orchestral tribute to Brazil's Antonio Carlos Jobim, one of the worlds most influential composers. His Girl From Ipanema, remains the most-often played song on earth. This is the North American premiere of his works, adapted for orchestra by his son Paulo and arranger Mario Adnet. Symphony of the Americas will perform under the direction of maestro Claudio Cruz of the Sao Paulo State Symphony Orchestra. Jobim Sinfonico won the 2004 Latin Grammy, classical category. The concert is the climax to the Broward Center's State to State business and cultural forum with the State of Sao Paulo and the State of Florida.
